Water Works Theatre Company is pleased to announce that Patrick Hanley will take on the role of Director of Education for KidsAct! and Water Works Teen Ensemble. Patrick, our long-time sword-fighting instructor and program co-director, brings many years of experience as a director, stage manager and fight choreographer to his new role and is passionate about Arts education. He will lead a select team of professional instructors this summer and has big plans for our popular outdoor youth programs.

It will be a great summer this year with KidsAct!

This six-day learning experience for students entering grades 1-8 offers instruction in Shakespeare, stage combat, dance, and comedic improvisation from highly qualified, professional teaching artists. Students then perform in an hour-long showcase to be presented for friends and family in Starr Jaycee Park.

KidsAct! returned for the 2018 season July 30-August 3, 2018 with the showcase performance on August 4 at 11am.

Water Works Teen Ensemble

In its eighth year, Water Works Teen Ensemble, our extraordinary high school-age outdoor experience, took on new challenges. Last year, our high school students auditioned for, performed, and produced a full-fledged production of Hamlet. This year’s production was A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Performances were at noon on Saturday, July 28; noon Sunday, July 29; and 7:00pm Monday, July 30.
